I'm not sure that they are.  I'd have to find some specifics about what information is needed to apply for welfare/food stamps.  I'd bet that proof of citizenship isn't required depending on the state/city.

They don't even deport illegals who are convicted of violent crimes you think they are strict about food stamps hahaha

And in all honestly, i can't blame the illegal alien who hops across the border because if i was in said position, i would probably do the same thing. Their needs to be serious crackdowns on businesses that hire illegals and even harsher punishment on illegals are arrested for crimes, violent or otherwise. Amnesty is not the answer, and neither is simply trucking every single illegal off.

Yea and screw all those immigrants who do it the RIGHT WAY or the LEGAL WAY and work for their citizenship.  SCREW THEM.  Keep them out so we can add the people who did it the WRONG WAY or ILLEGAL WAY.  Let's reward the illegal behavior while punishing the legal behavior.  Brilliant plan!

People often spend quite a bit of time, effort, and money to do it the legal way.  They should be our first priority because they *want* to be here.  The others did it the illegal way and should not get a "free pass". 

Go look at immigration numbers, it typically runs about 1 million PER YEAR.  LEGALLY.  If we add and influx of 10+ million in one year, doesn't that mean we would have to cut legal immigration back? Yes it does.

Again, rewarding those who came to America illegally is a dumb idea.
