A while back I talked about how Sarah Palin sucked.  Well - there is only a library of interviews now to prove how lacking she is to become the vice president and potentially a heartbeat away from the Presidency.  Of course then, as Matt Damon so eloquently puts it - she'll have the nuclear codes.

Sarah Palin obviously had an answer sheet in front of her which someone wrote up for her.  Because every time a question came up that her answer sheet wasn't clear on (like half the questions), she dodged that **** cause she didn't want to say something stupid like "I don't support roe v. wade, I am a federalist, but I think there is a right of privacy in the constitution".  Or that the Bush Doctrine is "his world-view".  She has only been a good public speaker when she has documents in front of her to read off of.

And fyi, I was for McCain before he chose Palin as her running-mate.

and apparently since I cannot edit my own post, she did not win that debate.  Only 1 completely and utterly biased analyst actually thought she had any substantial lead.

Palin exceeded expectations only because over the past weeks the expectations have been continuously lower. Since she didn't explode during the debate, she exceeded expectations.

Its crazy how Palin and Biden are held to different standards when they are running for the same position. I thought Republicans didn't believe in affirmative action.

It was quite clear that Biden was more specific, talking about the issues that actually matter to the American people, while Palin added nothing of value. Biden obviously won.

I think Biden won the debate tonight. He did stay on point and actually answered the questions he was asked. Palin on the other hand seemed to have trouble answering the questions she was asked while trying to twist the truth of Bidens views and practically putting words on his mouth.

Palin smoked Biden.

Not sure how Palin could have won: past the substance of the debate, does Palin even remotely resemble someone you would want to be President after watching this? Just from a character standpoint she seems completely unfit, just on what your gut tells you about leadership ability, force of character, intelligence and dignity. I hadn't seen anything of her before this, so I didn't have the lowered expectation some people might have had, and I was pretty terrified about the prospect of her being in a position to lead this country.

With that aside, Palin exceeded expectations, in that, she didnt make a utter complete fool out of herself. She only did that slightly by dodging issues and saying "Well I cant answer that right now" and then backtracking to a issue she already answered like five times. Honestly..answer the question. Dont backpeddle to energy every single question to try and sound smart.

Alot of newsfeeds and media say there was no punchout, but I tend to disagree. Biden stayed on message, on topic, and despite his slipps on speaking(he stuttered quite a bit in my opinion), he is definitly someone who knows what the issues of americans are, and is willing to resolve them.

Palin is just out of her league sadly.
