It seems as if she's finally decided to resign. This is a way for her to free up some time and to give the people of Alaska a real governor instead of someone who has ignored them for the past months. Speculation is wild now, is this the begining of her comeback tour with the last stop being the white house in 2012? If so, bring it on. Barry Obama a.k.a "Long Legged Mac Daddy" is only running against himself at this point, if he loses 2012, it's not because someone was better qualified; it was because he let down the American people in the time leading up to it. I personally don't think she can revamp her "Dontcha Know-Hockeymom-bulldog with lipstick-hunter-beautyqueen-whatever else she tried to tac onto herself" image. It can't be changed in 4 years; America got a taste of Sarah Palin and we gagged.

Palin cannot win an election. She's been shredded by the media already, and they'll likely do it again if she looks set to make a comeback. She's far too easy a target. Besides, she's known as a social radical, not an economic one, so if Barry O fails to save the economy she's not set to take advantage of it as much.

I think they'll go for Romney, personally. He could scoop up Liberals disenfranchised with their party if the economy sours further.

What that statement says, in case you are unaware, is that women should be at home taking care of the kids and not working or being in public office.  But it's okay for men to be in public office because they can do that *and* be a "real" father.

Just because that's what *you* think does not make it true for everyone.  You cannot project what you think onto everyone else and assume it is true.  A lot of people like her politics and her platforms.

I think that anyone who voted for Obama endangered out country but I'm not going to tell them that "the real America voted for McCain." or that they were wrong.  They made their decision based on what *they* thought was best.  I just think it was a bad idea.

Her private life is none of my concern.  Everyone's family is crazy/dysfunctional in some way.  I've never met anyone who didn't have a something/someone in their family who was weird/different/crazy/dysfunctional in some way.  I can't wait until you have kids.  You could easily get a girl pregnant, it doens't mean you have bad parents.  It means you made a decision and that you have to live with the consequences of that decision.  If you're 15 and having sex, what is the difference between that and her 17 year old daughter getting preg?  It's not like it was on purpose.

If you followed the election, other than occasionally watching the daily show, you'd realize the only time McCain led in the polls was when he announced Sarah Palin as his running mate.

McCain/Palin led until the collapse of Lehman Brothers, and the stock market.  They were basically pegged with Bush's economic legacy (which was silly, but happens).
