Top Tier Dota ; Farm 4 Fame

Champions from all over the world gather for the first time in history of DotA. FARM 4 FAME features Asian powerhouses who placed awesome in their events, we have the big names of the multigaming clans and members of the G7 from Europe, we have American teams who showed impressive DotA even before other countries focused on our game, we have the top-notch Russians who dominated the scene for a long time. And we also have a number of exciting newcomers to find out if the well-rehearsed can beat the unexpected.

All these teams have been invited by some unknown reason. Â
"The only thing we cannot give you is the also reason why we invited them all to fight in FARM 4 FAME."

The prediction who will be able to play on the edge for the whole time of twenty weeks.

Ten tournaments will separate the high flyers from the true champions.

Every loss will directly affect the overall outcome of the teams, and only those who are constant over the whole distance will make it into the finals to play for the $3,000 Euro cash and the fame of calling them self worlds toughest team.

Over a Dozen of high Tier Dota teams have gathered for a tournament created by Farm4Fame. Many pro teams are competing for a nice prize pool and hardware in this tourney. I believe they are in the round robin stages so far.

Check Six
MeetYourMakers
mousesports
Team Pandemic
SK-Gaming

And many other decent teams that you have probably never heard about.
The audio commentary style is similar to the more professional commentaries out of WCreplays.com. You can listen to a live stream on GGtv on game day, or watch the replay and the audio commentary.

First Round Action:

eSuba vs. H2O: Shoutcast and Replay Pack //Â by EsGC|Domi

eSuba : Sentinel

Shadow Fiend
Pitlord
Warlock
Luna : BKB
Zeus : Ring

H20 : Scourge

Drow : Lothars BKB
QoP : Bottle / Pers
Necro : Sheep
Tide
Chen : Mek

Team H20 harasses Luna early, 3 successfull ganks from Chen on Luna before Level 6, gives H20 an early lead on XP and gold.
Mid game sees eSuba get a few kills, however drow easily picks off stragglers with Lothars and Pitlord missed tons of key Pits. H20 pushes up the middle and its gg.

IGG : Sentinel

Lich
Nerubian Asasin : Dagon
Specter : Diffusal + Rad
BroodMother : BKB + Vlads + Bfly
Zeus : Sheep

DMZ : Scourge

Dazzle
Davion : BKB + Crystalis
Lion
Luna : BKB + Bfly
EarthShaker : Blink

Early Brazilian Firstblood gives Lion and Davion some XP. Announcer gets pretty excited in this game. Double Damage Brood deals a lot damage to DMZ in a team battle, with their Dazzle Lion and EarthShaker being complete non-factors due to mana or being underleveled, team DMZ's carry (Davion) got killed without reprecussions, allowing IGG back into the game. A second Double Damage for Broodmother seals DMZ in their base, and eventually cleanses out the Rax's. An amazing gank for the aegis, leaving only a few players alive. IGG pulls ahed and kills all 5 DMZ heros at Roshan, and clears out the third tower. 3 Frustrating Courier kills by NA add to the intensity.

Davion gets a huge triple kill, but not without the enemy carry (Brood) doing equal damage to his team, not like he could stop it with bfly + BKB. Broodmother takes out the three weaklings on DMZ and easily walks away with the victory.

More Game Updates to come in future blogs as I watch them!

Cant wait for MYM VS Mouz!

940mp5 in s6 druid gear

After looking at the difference from s5 to s6 druid gear and extrapolating the effective spirit, I have came up with the prospective regen for a living spirit druid in season six gear.

Basically all you retards that say the lifebloom nerf hit you hard, you are dumb, you can keep up literally full hots while gaining mana.

And for all you nerds here it is.

Facts:

Spirit enchant on wep
10int 10spirit epic gems in yellow/blue sockets
all spirit socket bonuses
7 spirit per piece from s5->s6
living spirit talent
LVL 70 Base spirit ( so more spirit to come fgts lol!)
0 other enchants

 Mana Regen = 5 * sqrt(Int) * Spirit * Base_Regen(lvl 80)

5 *Â sqrt(546(lvl70int) + 453(s6 gear) *[ ( 135(lvl70) + 567 ) x.15(living spirit) ]* 0.0075

5* 31 * 807 * 0.0075 = 940mp5 + dreamstate

(WOLTK-PVP) IMP Intercept VS Heroic Leap

Basically I was bored at work and decided to create a graph of IMP intercept VS leap/intercept.

After my origional theory of dps time via arms to be > fury ( I havent even included bladestorm into the mix yet ) I was supprised when fury only had 80% of the dps time arms had.

To even greater accentuate my point I decided to add in BoF into the equation. Hey you never know pallys might be good in WOLTK, who knows. This shows far and away which the better spec is.

The only exception I can see to this is if you can jump up from the bottom of blades edge after you get cyclone, rooted, stunned, snared or just plain suck when crossing the rope. This might make fury equal to Arms in some situations.

Yes it does hurt me that fury will again be 2nd tier in terms of pvp spec. But then again rampage + Imp zerker have always scaled better with raid buffs.

Sorry Blizz, Arms still wins.

For all you TLDR Folk

Top Tier Full Dps

Bottom Tier , Top Rating

I connect to vent.

All I hear is Pigvomit saying "2v2 h00!"

I think to myself, then I start WoW, and log on my Rogue.

"Naaa Down"

Get on the warrior he says. Ok so I’m thinking to myself, what a low tier scrub combo, could we even break ~1800? As we fly out to Nagrand for yet another team charter I’m thinking this could get ugly. And at first it was. This brings me to the statement of all matrix’s can work when played correctly, in this 2v2 will have to be played totally different then we originally were instinctively playing it and have been playing arena thus far.

Personally for this matrix, we both had to re-evaluate the meaning of rushdown. Completely change our conservative play-styles, and pretty much had to re-learn 2v2 arena. We started off pretty much joking around that we would never break 1800, even though pig told me that someone got 2200 on a trash BG with the same comp( And them being clickers too, clearly wsvg caliber players could push the matrix higher, but on bg9?). Early on the first day we had some problems vs healer/dps teams. Usual BG 9 ****. Drain lock + pal/druid. Just some teams with mediocre gear and skill. It was pretty much like playing with one leg.

The thing that fascinated me early on is the cooldown usage. Everything has to be perfect, no heals can land, no spells can be cast or we loose. Keeping both targets hamstrung. Its pretty simple, but its not just a zerg. I think the first time we really thought we could muster up a 2000+ rating was when we played a decked BM hunter Pally matrix that we previous had lost to. We rush in and I already have Deathwish and Sweeping strikes ready( literally exploits 4tw). We start attacking targets, except me being my usually stubborn self I stayed on the bm hunter. Versus Pally Teams we usually get them to bubble, then snare the dps and try and reset the fight, then hopefully come back with enough hp and blow our cooldowns and kill the pally. So anyway back to our revolutionary game, we ended up aoeing the pally and the hunter down after some good cs+int shout action. I think we managed to kill the pet in 2 aoe’s. Don’t really ask me how, I think it was the combination of sweeping strikes, slow bubble/Beast within, and blastwave.

After that we decided to just go a direct aproach. Pig respec’d arcane fire and our games would be won or lost in under 30 seconds. It was intense.
We went on a 20 game win streak after that moment, and quickly sat atop a 2100 rated joke. Playing the likes of Evilturkey, Neilyo/Gumbot ( keep q’ing son).

After all this was over I was satisfied that we had done well. Frankly embarrassing a t6 pally/warrior team that thought we were buying points was the funniest moment, as well as all the heartbreaker 1v1’s. Usually its pig vs warlock, and you know how that ends. This really got me into a high twitch attitude, and I think winning in the first counterspell is much more challenging then winning an outlast battle ( my previous 2’s and 3’s ) with double healer turtle push.

The reason I’m writing this is because I’m starting a 3dps team( coined years before ming wrote his recent blog), a total turnaround from my previous wsvg experience and high level play.

Mace/Mute rogue + ele shm + Icemage

I’ve always wanted to play this matrix personally. We have already beaten some notables from our BG and are already at 2300. In the future I foresee an easy gladiator even with our bottom tier racials, however I guess double human is really good because if we can get a sap and open on the rogue/druid we usually always win.

We use standard 3v3 strategy and really try to only dps dps unless its druid mage slock. We always try and kite warriors out of los and if they are foolish enough to either slow trinket the 5pt ks cb mute rentaki, or slow reflect intervene ( frankly most warriors are trash, and really I cant express this enough, most warriors are only playing a 2D game while we are living in a 3D world). Once I get my Capacator and know when to purge reflect there will really be no stopping our dps train. ( Not to mention 20% LO and more spell dmg next season).

In conclusion I believe this team can really beat any matrix we just have play it differently. My partners have to re-learn the game from their rogue/mage/priest high level play, as it really is a more defensive game until I get my EM+NS burst off. We have been cc’ing well, keeping rupture up on rogue targets, and kiting with DT+Frostshock+Nova/Sheep with no real escape abilities really is fun, especially when I am gemmed 100% dmg. However there is always room for improvement in our cc/kiting, and I belive that is what our team will be made or broken on. Any team can zerg dps and silence healers, but playing with an elemental shaman that bruises like a peach is 100% more fun then playing rogue or warrior.
