Worst hangover ever

Came back from bar wasted yesterday, decided to go to shower to clear my head a bit. I woke up my head hurting like hell and saw that i had passed out while showering. Shower was still on, water was floating on the bathroom and apparently had been floating over the bathrooms edge for a while(5 hours at least). I opened the bathroom door and saw the worst sight ever:

The water had completely destroyed my carpet floors, estimated damages, 2000 euros? Im never going to drink again.

Or as they say in the hood: LHC, is supposed to answer a lot of questions science has been boggling for decades; What is "stuff" made of? Are there parallel worlds etc. By a funding of 6 billion euros( 9-10 billion dollars?), it would be a shame if they wont be able to figure anything out of the procedure, at least some minor data.

Lot of theories of the End of the World is moving around, and it seems that every scientist agrees that there is a minimalistic chance of a catastrophic event.
I personally doubt anything is gonna happen.

I find this massive scale of science fascinating, and had to make a blog about it.
What you guys think about this? Waste of tax payers money, or possible biggest leap of science ever?

Two suspects are arrested by the police. The police have insufficient evidence for a conviction, and, having separated both prisoners, visit each of them to offer the same deal: if one testifies ("defects") for the prosecution against the other and the other remains silent, the betrayer goes free and the silent accomplice receives the full 10-year sentence. If both remain silent, both prisoners are sentenced to only six months in jail for a minor charge. If each betrays the other, each receives a five-year sentence. Each prisoner must make the choice of whether to betray the other or to remain silent. Each one is assured that the other would not know about the betrayal before the end of the investigation. How should the prisoners act?
