The Championship Gaming Series has announced the Franchise Players selected to leave their lasting mark on each team. Each team was allowed to select one Franchise Player to keep throughout the 2008 season on the basis of their superior skills and performance. The picks from each team are as follows:

The Championship Gaming Series has announced its official games lineup for the 2008 season.

For PC, Vavle's Counter-Strike: Source will return as the league's team FPS title, while EA Sports' FIFA 08 will be used as an update to last season's use of FIFA 07. For Xbox 360, Tecmo's Dead or Alive 4 will return as the title fighting game, while Microsoft Game Studios’ Forza Motorsport 2 will replace the Project Gotham Racing series as the title racing game.
