I recently have been playing shooters exclusively L4D, CS:S, CS 1.6 etc. and I have been very much so taken a liken to them compared to in the past when I found them very repetitive and got bored after a couple hours. I mostly have done gotten into shooters because of the lackluster skill requirement in MMO's in general.

Is realistic game play better or worse? This has been discussed for a long time, but lately it’s on fire with the introduction of Counter Strike: Source being endorsed by the CGS, and the majority of top Counter Strike teams making the switch. These top corporations such as DirecTV have paid for in total these new competitive gaming leagues, aka the Championship Gaming Series or CGS.
