After watching the great cinematic (which is expected from Blizzard) and reading up on it a little on the website, I can say I am excited. The new Diablo game looks awesome, the website looks great, and well, it looks like they won't be ruining it by turning it into WoW.
Diablo was always great because of the awesome unique feel to the game - you were your own character, etc.. and I think Blizzard is really going to stick to this, without making it terrible like WoW.
So I woke up today, took a look and saw the expected splash screen, Diablo's face alright. Neat, the site was down though and I had to head out so I figured I'd check it out later. Spoke some to a mate who was at home via my cellphone and asked me some stuff about the game; "Two classes of five (3 if you count the mentioned 'rogue'), no healing/tank based class, ****ty graphics, played by the mouse..?"

I've seen a lot of posts asking when the next Diablo is coming from Blizzard. The answer might be a while and the reason I'm not sure many people know. THe original development team behind Diablo no longer works at blizzard. They are currently working on a game called Mythos which is a free to play MMO that's very much like Diablo. With Age of Conan being released shortly, and Warhammer following suit a popular debate rises, when will there be an MMO that can challenge the popularity or even success of World of Warcraft.
