It's been a long weekend. I just woke up from 14 hours of sleep as I wasn't able to sleep more than about 3-4 hours a night. But it's been great fun and an amazing experience for me. Syeren did a great job on Saturday and sadly he was busy on Sunday and I couldn't find a replacement fast enough. Doing it myself was nowhere near possible with the articles I wrote for Gotfrag. If you want to reread them to relive the emotions you had you can check them out here. And yes for some of us it was emotional. You can call me idiot for that if you want, it's no biggie. We were sitting with so many different pro players on Syeren's vent and even some of them were cheering if either SK.EU won a round or Check Six lost one. I still love you Twixz; he's a great guy. … More
I'm scared even though I'm said to be the Blogfather. Only a couple of hours to my second humiliation after the one on Arenacast. This time I can blame it on brain fatigue because of jogging though, which was an awesome plan.
I stutter? Well look at you fatty sitting in your computer chair listening to me on internet television.
I apologize in advance for my coughing which will surely happen. If you guys have awesome questions or topics to talk about,… More
What's up y'all? New day, new blog and yesterday has been a day of emotional ups and downs for me, **** - is - unreal. Let's start from the very beginning, shall we?
Yiska on Arenacast
7pm CET - JP calls as I agreed to be on this weeks Arenacast. I had a couple of topics in mind and I wanted to have at least a witty introduction. And as everything in life, things don't work out as planned and... one just acts absolutely retarded and has no clue went to shut is stuttering trap. First "show" I'… More
I'm getting nervous people. Sign this petition godamnit! I started to bet on football by the way and I'm 13 Euro down so far because record champion Bayern München can't win against Cologne. These oranjes are the cancer drinking our delicious beer at the Oktoberfest. Roy Makaay, now that was a nice tulips gardener. I love Robben but he's like a level 60 arcane Mage, shoot your load and die. Glass cannons... I know, cool story bro. A pro pros:
We had a little miscommunication yesterday. I'm currently pretty busy with uni starting again soon and on top of that my mother just realized that her kitchen desperately needs to be renovated. Women... Wrath of the menstrual thing, that would be a pretty scary expansion, think about it. Uuuhhh...goose bumps. Alright, this is a WoW blog. Yes it is. YES! So let's get into some WoW related stuff.

Daanzka: "NO GUYS WE WON'T QUEUE, I WANT TO SHARE SO PEOPLE LIKE ME OVER ON STORMSCALE"
Big D spoke and so it was settled. What was fixed to be 10 Furious Gladiators per BG turned into a 25 #1 title share fest. eHeroes walks away with dominating all three brackets on Cyclone EU and with quite some alliance players moving to Ravencrest in Season 7, there is no doubt in my mind that RC is the new place to go at least for alliance players. It's called PvECrest for a reason, so you're really not miss… More
First off I apologize for not live-blogging from GamesCom but basically every internet viable PC at GamesCom would've "los'd" me from the action at the stage and the player zone was always full to the last seat. Also I have technical issues with my cellphone and I'm currently not able to upload my pics onto my PC.
Secondly, Fifa as a spectator sport IS AWFUL. Don't get me wrong, I love football and I acknowledge the skill that Fifa requires etc. but it's a pain to watch for me even though the ES… More
Today in the ESL GameZone held at GamesCom, the world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko opened the Intel Extreme Masters Season 4. During his interview he mentioned that electronic sports is "Very similar to boxing" and went on to say "I am very impressed by the setup and the competition of Intel Extreme Masters as a whole" during the opening ceremony. Scroll to the bottom to watch, but be warned; most of it is in German!

Since our dearest Yiska wasn't able to do an entry today, I will be covering some other stuff that has been on my mind for a while.
Normally I was intending to do an interview with one of the best Hunters in Europe (no, that is not our friendly neighbourhood clicker Kettu). But I didn't feel like rushing it, so it'll have to wait a bit longer.
Stay tuned with us for the upcomming tournament week as we will be doing Live coverage from both Gamescom and Blizzcon!
While I was trying to think of a decent introduction line (and trying to find out why my deodorant has turned my armpit hair rock-solid), I figured that most people would already know who I am or simply don't give a damn and think "just shut up and tell us something useful already!" Anyhow, a small introduction won't hurt anyone I guess.
As most of you probably know, I've been playing a Mage for almost 5 years now. Devoted my whole "wow career" to obtaining perfect control of the class and always… More
With GamesCom fast approaching, our WoW admin David "Shawn" Kugelmann sat down in the ESL studio to talk about the teams in attendance for the first Season IV Global Challenge. Scroll down to the bottom to watch a YouTube preview of all the teams.

The eSports fanatics among us may have recently heard of the announcement to include World of Warcraft in the Fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters. ESL are delighted to continue supporting the game and we are certain our coverage and content this year will be better than ever.
Season IV will include a mega $500,000 of prize money and numerous tour stops. More details will be revealed during and after GamesCom which begins on Wednesday next week, when the first ever Patch 3.2 tournament in h… More
BREAKING NEWS: Michal "Carmac" Blicharz, the current Product Manager of ESL known for his history with being Editor in Chief of SK-Gaming as well as his work with GGL and XSReality (now known as ESReality.com) posted "World of Warcraft goes. There is no other way. :-/" on his Twitter. Well known game journalist Rod 'Slasher' Breslau posted speculation on whether this means the end of support for World of Warcraft in Intel Extreme Masters. ESL's David "Affentod" Hiltscher confirmed that Carmac w… More
The Grand Finals of the ESL TV invitational is upon us and this week the four exceptional teams who made it through the group stages will duke it out.
The action kicks off at 10pm CET and is repeated on ESL TV at 9pm CET for American viewers
One composition of classes managed to shine once again in this tournament: The infamous combo of Rogue, Mage and Priest that is dominating the scene for quite some time now. We will see no less than three out of four teams with this comp this week, guaranteein… More
Week four of the ESL TV invitational is upon us and this week we have some rather special games in the pipeline.
The action kicks off at 10pm CET and is repeated at 9pm CET for American viewers
Our focus over the course of this exclusive invite only tournament has been entirely PvP as we shift away from our normal dosage of everything WoW. But fear not, the normal show format will be back in a few weeks after our feast of competitive PvP comes to a close.
