Greetings

Hey everyone, this is Hira and I’ll give you guys a little run down of who I am and what I do. Currently I’m a student in high school who’s main interests include games and art and the two combined. I’m attending an art high school and will be going into my senior year this fall. In my free time I enjoy making videos that range from all sorts of genre/topics, including machinima, and entering videos into contests to win other game related prizes.

Although Maricopa County District 1 Supervisor wannabe Ed Hermes' political credibility is on par with that of YouTube user Pruane2Forever, I found it funny that he was specifically bashed by his opponent, Fulton Brock, in a smear campaign (Enlarged smear photo) for being "addicted to Halo" during college.

There may be a new Halo game at E3 in the coming week but the announcement could also just be rumor at this point. 

CVG feels a followup to the fantastic selling Halo 3 is in the works, though it may not be a direct sequel nor may it feature Master Chief.  It seems various reports have a spin off, the long rumored Halo: Chronicles by Peter "I did Lord of the Rings" Jackson, or a possible 3rd person prequel.

With San Diego growing closer and closer as we close in on June, let's check out some of the roster changes from the last event.

The top 2 have kept the same roster from meadowlands, but #3 Instinct dropped Victory X for SnipedDown from #7 Ambush, and Victory then moved to #4 Triggers Down, replacing Lowkin. So v5 of the Halo setting were released Friday night, and while the base gametypes remain unchanged, the map settings received some significant updates.

First off, Stockpile is officially dead. Not surprising considering the low quality of the map, and the glitches did not help at all. A new forge map though was added to the mix. Amplitude is a mix of Onslaught(Other forge map), Warlock and Midship. It plays well to team shooting while still keeping a setup require lots of coordination.

The points have been released for they first event, and so far there are no surprises. The order of the point leaders is the same since Meadowlands since no player movement reports have been filed, even though I know several team have changed their rosters i.e MoB Deep. Right now the points break down like this

1. Final Boss - Walshy, StrongSide, OGRE2, OGRE1 = 4800
2. Classic - [AsK]LeGeNdPimPs, FeaR is SicK, AbR AnT, I-Soldi3r187-I = 4000

Come on MLG, it’s been 2 weeks since Meadowlands was over and we STILL only have the rebroadcasts of the Saturday night and Sunday afternoon stuff. Morning news is ready to rock and roll.  Lets get started with some Madden 09 news shall we?

The dust has settled, the competitors have gone home and the first event of 2008 is in the books. By far one of the craziest events in Halo history went down with some very unexpected results

The Pro bracket is now set and the games are now beginning to be played over in the Halo area. End Result was the only team seeded in the Top 8 not to make it to the Pro bracket with some poor play. Here is the list of team who made the pro bracket
