I pleasantly enjoyed this weekend with the absolutely amazing WCG stream. High quality for free is pretty nice and don't get me started on the major e-sports games finals. WC3, SC & CS grand finals easily made me feel like I'm watching the Olympic 100m men final race. It's sad that they had to stop the CS stream but we have to understand that RTS is just on a completely different level for Asians (may I add, rightfully so) and nobody could anticipate that the first map would go into not less… More

Time for a Yiska blog. I've been busy lately and after that weekend I felt I really needed a break from writing for a while since I worked the whole weekend. So much is going to change in my life and for Eurospective that I'm excited, yet afraid. I'll be trusting my gut over my brain this time around and it could end up royally ****ting all over my future. One thing is certain, I wasn't happy 6 months ago and I'm not entirely happy now even though it's way better. Great opportunities have opened for me and I will have to make sacrifices.… More

Arena Class Focus: Mage This article will mostly be focusing on RMP, but a lot of the tips here can be applied to the mage class as a whole. Mages are a very unique class in that they can control the game and win or lose the match for their team at almost any given moment in the game. This is especially true in RMP, where a clutch CS or fake can decide the outcome of the game. So without any further introduction, lets begin. Setting Yourself Up for Success:… More

It's been a long weekend. I just woke up from 14 hours of sleep as I wasn't able to sleep more than about 3-4 hours a night. But it's been great fun and an amazing experience for me. Syeren did a great job on Saturday and sadly he was busy on Sunday and I couldn't find a replacement fast enough. Doing it myself was nowhere near possible with the articles I wrote for Gotfrag. If you want to reread them to relive the emotions you had you can check them out here. And yes for some of us it was emotional. You can call me idiot for that if you want, it's no biggie. We were sitting with so many different pro players on Syeren's vent and even some of them were cheering if either SK.EU won a round or Check Six lost one. I still love you Twixz; he's a great guy. … More

University kicked in full time and I won't be able to sustain the one blog per day schedule with the resources I have. Lacanoz hasn't contacted me in a week and I apologize for the missing blog yesterday, but it will definitely not be the last one I'll miss. If you're interested in becoming a WoW writer it has never been a better time to do so. If my day had 60 hours, I could easily be working for 10 or more organisations now as they all approached me to write for them. I share this information not because I feel I'm special rather than state that with a little help and a little talent you can become a top writer for Eurospective and later on for various other big community sites. Eurospective is perfect to get used to the work, as you don't have a serious obligation towards me.… More

Yesterday it happened that because of a domino effect which Daanzka triggered by raping kids and my Shaman decided that I was too inactive and he wanted to play with Shaman hero Glyptic's Mage, which is fair enough since I my time is very limited with university and Eurospective and also I'm sure that a 300 games per week playing Glyptic is the better player. I decided that it was time to go back to Ret, a class that suits my playstyle meaning I think I'm pretty good at understanding if I need t… More

I fell asleep half way over the new David Attenborough documentation called "Life" last night. Not that I thought it was boring or anything, pretty much the opposite, but wild animals having intercourse plus the sound of his voice triggers essentially the same genetically anchored reaction like a mother's heartbeat does to her child while it's sucking on her nipple. That still works for me nowadays by the way, just not with my mom. In fact I slept so well, that I even had a nice dream. I could f… More

What's up y'all? New day, new blog and yesterday has been a day of emotional ups and downs for me, **** - is - unreal. Let's start from the very beginning, shall we? Yiska on Arenacast 7pm CET - JP calls as I agreed to be on this weeks Arenacast. I had a couple of topics in mind and I wanted to have at least a witty introduction. And as everything in life, things don't work out as planned and... one just acts absolutely retarded and has no clue went to shut is stuttering trap. First "show" I'… More

So here we are on Eurospective. Yes it's Eurospective and not Euro Perspective. I knew I wasn't getting the job since Ming didn't contact me and in Azael's blog it said that they had a new writer. I'm not going to lie, I was sad. I remember like it was yesterday when I submitted a question to ArenaCast. I was miserable at that time, pretty much my whole family split up, I was definitely addicted to WoW. In an effort to escape the loop, I moved in my mom's apartment mid semester also because the … More

Ahww come here, let me pinch your cheek. I missed you so much. I had so much to do the last couple of days and quite some stuff has happened. I'm back in my apartment and it still looks like I was robbed or I hosted an orgy and if my mother would chime in 10 minutes that is exactly what I'd tell her. I brought all my stuff back up here by car on Saturday after two hours of sleep, drove home and watched the football game Germany vs. Russia and won 7,80 Euro. It was so easy to predict - pardon, weave - again: Germany had a good chance to win if the RNG was on their site and of course if the map isn't "Russian Winter". Later I got wasted on my uncle's 40th birthday and that guy is probably the coolest uncle ever. He's still playing CS and L4D (Check this vid if you played L4D) and in fact ordered a copy of L4D2 for me. He also has two children and one of them is a huge CS talent but he's slacking because he recently got interested in girls. His amount of awesome-chlorians is higher than mine. Way to throw away your e-career. Check out his video:… More

Obligatory bit about myself: Gladiator for all seasons so far. Brutal Glad from 5s playing 2346. I've been playing a warlock forever, and I've got a handful of movies out that have performed anywhere between lackluster to great. Now... About 8 months ago, I made a decision to never let stress affect me again. This was after a particularly overloaded quarter in my senior year working on my degree in aeronautics and astronautics. I decided to have more fun. Take more risks. I went skydiving, launch… More

A new month and what else should I say: Mission accomplished. The goal was 65k hits in September and we finished slightly over 70k while also winning the monthly blogging contest. The trend of getting more likes than comments continued once again and we're currently sitting at 3957 likes and 3338 comments. Fun facts:Google analytics says that the average US user spends a bit over a minute on our blogs, while the average German sits here for 11:18 minutes. My bet is that my Bodi impersonation was… More

We had a little miscommunication yesterday. I'm currently pretty busy with uni starting again soon and on top of that my mother just realized that her kitchen desperately needs to be renovated. Women... Wrath of the menstrual thing, that would be a pretty scary expansion, think about it. Uuuhhh...goose bumps. Alright, this is a WoW blog. Yes it is. YES! So let's get into some WoW related stuff. SK EU Might Not Happen - MLG DramaThis is just fresh out of the box. As always, Eurospective is your nu… More
