I think you have great ideas,  I'd love to see Rogues next. 

 

You are too funny.  I like how you say that the sub tree sucks and no rogues take it, and then you cry about not having all of it's abilities.  You cry about not having good sapping and good stealth.  Too bad, that is why you have better damage.  The truth is that the hemo spec works pretty well if you have a good slow MH.  I have average gear (about 6 epics - all from pvp) and I do just fine.  I regularly hold top dps in all of my instances.  I don't instance much and have never been in one with a combat rogue, but I have beaten a mutilate rogue and all other classes.  A mage beat me once.  Like I said though, I don't instance much, as I usually can only play for short periods of time. I am usually top 10% on all BG's in damage and tops in KB's in all BG's as well.  BTW, shadowstep is 15 sec CD, not 20.  And sub is slightly underpowered atm, but only slightly.  Their is a sacrifice of damage for locking people down.  I do agree with the talents not scaling properly and should scale with AP.  I like your idea of shadowstep breaking roots and stuff, I think you should be able to cast it while not in stealth too, but maybe make it 50% chance to break the root.

 

I took a look at another BG. Bloodlust, I think that is supposed to be a good BG.    Well there are 23 rogues there with a 1900 rating and 128 warriors.

Clearly my BG is about the same.  If Blizzard really wants to limit the weapons to such a small percentage of players, so be it.  I still think the majority of people on gameriot are full of crap saying it is easy to get 1900.  They are just trying to make average people feel worse than average.  Obviously, most people here are liars OR they really are in the top 3% of players.  If that is the case, then I want to see more quality blogs instead of qq'ing. Obviously, someone in the top 3% has NOTHING to complain about.

 

You are so full of crap Saithe.  Obviously I have no idea if you have the ratings you suggest, and frankly I don't care.  But it is not anywhere near EASY to get 1900 in any BG.  And you know this.  As I have shown in posts here, roughly the top 3% of people get to 1900 in ANY bracket. 

If you have a rating that high, it means one or more of these things:
you are truly a gifted player
you are lucky to be paired up with other great players
you happen to have a line-up that has amazing synergy (warlock/paladin) for example.
you have found a way to cheat the system
you have absolutely no life outside of WoW
you have no job

So which is it for you?

 

So I guess you are just skilled and have skilled friends.  I myself am an average player.  I don't have much time being the father of two kids under the age of 2.   All I know is the teams I face are very skilled and have good gear.  If what you are saying is true, then that means that teams in the 1500 range are very close in skill and gear to teams in the 1900 range.  As it stands for me, over half the teams I face are in mostly epic.  Usually a cross between pvp and pve gear.  No teams I meet in the 1500 range are wearing blues and greens, unless they are a brand new team.  Those teams have rankings below 1400.  I think what you 1900 players don't get is that it is hard to catch up.  Cause the teams you are fighting against are doing the same thing as you and are on the same level.  A 1600 team today is way better than a 1600 team from 3 months ago.  If you managed to get to 70 in a few weeks and have been doing arena since then, then you already have your gear and know all the tricks.  I took 3 months to get to 70 and by the time I started arena, lots of people were already good. 
So I still disagree, it is NOT easy to get to 1900.  And no, I don't suck as a player and I'm not making excuses.  If you had my gear, and your teammates had my friends gear, you would struggle, and you would NOT make 1900.  You may be a better player than me, but that only goes so far.  I'd say the best you could do is 1700.
