Hey myew, very interesting read, I'm really looking forward to more articles.  It's quite hard to find some really solid arena druid discussion, and just hitting the 2200rating level in 2v2 recently makes me curious of how other druids go about gear / playstyle / strategies etc.

2.3 is set to be a killer patch.  Can't wait!

(oh and btw, gear swapping hurt my 2v2 hard as well, there was nothing better than seeing a lock/healer team and ripping out 1900 healing and primal mooncloth set bonus : < )

If you're really that convinced your class is broken there's little anyone can do to convince you otherwise.  I'd suggest levelling a Paladin as you so clearly want to be one, you beg for your utility to be reduced at the gain of better survival versus melee, the choice seems obvious.

The reason you're copping so much hate in these comments is because everyone has encountered well played priests in arena, and know how devastating they can be
