There's a bit of a difference between "atm" @ 70 and at 80.  Warlocks are still super vulnerable (too vulnerable IMO) at 80, but their teleport circle creates a good opportunity for good locks to differentiate themselves from the mediocre locks, it's a fairly skill intensive move in terms of strategy, placement, and timing.

I've seen it be REALLY effective @ 80 for many different uses from offensive pressure, creating an easy hard-summon opportunity for pet, etc.

People rag on it but I like the skill, and I play a lock @ 70 (and have at 80 also on beta).

Sure it is a pain sometimes if the war/druid wants to be douche's and turtle to hell and back.  That's all they really are doing though, is prolonging the fight.  Although it is a bit riskier for you as dreamstate after a failed gib.

But you never really even attempted it at all for that recording.....is what I'm saying.  I spotted many opportunities that left you with perfect setups.

That's all I'm saying.  If you had tried many times before in a previous (unrecorded) fight and just annihilate/druid turtles too well...... that's a different story.  But I wasn't seeing that AT ALL that fight.

Serennia that is a painfully slow way to play hunter/druid vs war/druid.  I just cringed the longer and longer the fight went with you kiting annihilate all over the map while your hunter did absolutely nothing to his druid.

It's a simple strat vs war/dru.  Bait the warrior away from LoS obstacles while dps'ing it to force enemy druid out of LoS temporarily, while your hunter manuvers within 15 yards of druid as he comes out (good druids will try to avoid this but you cannot stay > 15 yards from hunter all fight).  Then prep a root/cyclone on enemy war so your hunter can begin to charge up aimshot.

Hunter lands aimshot then scatter - freezes enemy druid.  You cyclone enemy druid 2x from the freeze, then cyclone warrior before he can HoT ---> finish warrior.

This gib attempt can and will be broken by defensive CD's (trinket) or other good defensive plays, etc, but you should be attempting to set it up again and again every 30 seconds until it finishes the warrior.

I dunno, it's pretty common knowledge for most competitive hunter 2's, before 3.0 anyway.....

I will be there.  If you'd like a hunter, I'd be down.  Our x-server WSG team on BG1 was very competitive pre-TBC (undefeated, almost un-capped, until eventually lost 2-3 to Vicious Cycle before they xferred to bg9)

(I'm also pretty involved in beta balancing.  My latest vid (just skirmishes in build 9014) is here:

I've dabbled in rated with randoms, but if any experienced healer(pref. resto druid) has free time and wants to do some beta rated, email me at battery890@yahoo.com)
