Joliiz you greatly underestimate Ming's ability to ignore/cheer on horrible changes, so long as they benefit him. You seem to be laboring under the impression that Ming is a fair and balanced commentator on issues relating to WoW when you really ought to know better by now. When Ming's ego gets pitted againsthis sense of fairness or his capacity for logic I'm sure his ego win every single time. Getting easy cheap wins is very gratifying for the ego.

The last paragraph of my post above was supposed to talk about the
resilience cap. unfortunately the speech to text program I use didn't
seem to capture that word. My apologies.

It can be hard to say the least to put together a good warlock video. Many of the most used warlock spells have no travel animations so people unfamiliar with the class wont understand how your putting damage on to a target. Additionally it can often appear to untrained eyes that the warlock is merely winning by attrition and such tactics are indeed more often attributed to locks, simply because locks have no true "oh sh*t buttons" in quite the same way many other classes do. Any hits you do take must simply be tanked rather then avoided entirely. Calculations of this type a lock player enters into are simply alien to most players of most other classes, so most people (even many pro's) have no idea what they are seeing in a lock video.
A very well written review Jasi (Shadow priest players play with much commonality as to pvp style as some lock players will so understanding flows more freely in this case).  Never the less its nice to see a reviewer who understands what they are seeing.

"To make it even worse, there are people on PTR that completely custom
tailor their talent specs, gems and enchants to wreck rogues.  Shamans
going 20 enhancement 41 restoration for extra survivability. Paladins
that invest a significant amount of points in protection. Even
Serennia, god of warriors went last stand, something he would never use
in live play. "
Don't act Sooooo surprised by this Ming. Nothing is more annoying then being stunlocked so low in hp that by the time you can move the fight is OVER. No other 1v1 matchup is more annoying then fighting a Rogue that can really abuse all the stuns and incapacitates the class has. No other class but Rogues will leave you so unhappy at the end of a lost Duel other then Rogues.
Any RPG game with a Rogue like class will have this effect on people.  In Guild Wars that games Rogue equivalent, the Assassin, is so annoying to fight that most people bring at least a few skills to any Alliance Battle or Fort Aspenwood match that directly counter knock downs or high initial burst damage. (which are almost always the most salent features of most Assassin builds) Rogues and Rogue like classes in similar games tend to always start with the initiative in any duel by default . Most other players hate this "initiative deficient" inherent to fighting these dagger using leather wearers of the criminal element..... no matter which PvP MMO we are talking about..... any decently strong class that is in any way similar to Rogues will illicit special dislike from other players who chose a healer, caster or even Warrior instead.
I remember well the days when I used to play WoW. Soul link with as much stamina/resilience as I could possibly find in order to have some chance at even just fighting Rogues. When my arena team demanded I that I should go affliction, just about my first thought after hearing that ultimatum was.... "If I do this for them, it will really screw over any chance I have of surviving alliance Rogues, until I am wearing full Gladiator gear". Needless to say I damm near decided to start looking for another arena team instead.Â
Don't think that for a seccond that my priority in gearing and specing against Rogues is not shared by those who like World PvP, Battlegrounds and Duels. Only those who spend thier time ONLY fighting in arenas or who have a dedicated pocket healer as a friend will do anything less then take special precautions vs Rogues.
