the super mario bros games need a new concept like the super mario bros movie needs a sequel. jk, just wanted to throw in some mean-spirited bashing cause that movie was fcking insufferable.

srsly tho i'd be open to a new dimension in the series like what if the mushroom kingdom, over time, became totally dilapidated once bowzer seized control and what remained of a
once prosperous kingdom festered into a horrid miasma and the scummy
bottom feeders who continued to exist there had fungus on their armpits
and genitals.

then we have mario, a surly pipe-cleaning sex offender
who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty when he's on the job. we also have peach, the 14 year old prostitute who mario finds on myspace and stalks irl. so it starts off like the movie taxi driver, then goes on the zelda wind waker theme (hero of the ages, etc.), but replace the green tunic with red overalls and a hat. Finally it ends up like steinbeck's east of eden because you think he's a descendant of great grandaddy mario but it turns out great grandaddy mario was sterile as a mule and his bro luigi was f*cking the **** out of the princess. aaaaannnnnd scene!

 

The relevance of the Simpsons certainly has waned in the within the past half decade and longer. Thanks, Family Guy and your Adult Swim Entourage. I haven't watched it religiously in years but I have casually caught a syndicated episode here and there. I admit, I was genuinely excited about the 7 eleven promotion and I pretty much shat myself when I saw 2 boxes of Krusty-O's my roommate bought. Unortunately they were sold out of Buzz Cola.
